The Amador County Women’s Network (ACWN) was formed in 1989 as a California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation. The charter of ACWN is to provide an opportunity for women in the Amador County community to network, share ideas and provide services to the community and our local school system.
We also have a program to foster the next generation of women by giving out scholarships for young women to use for college. This has been a passion for our group and the support from our members is outstanding.
The objectives and purpose of the Amador County Women's Network:
Meet local women and strengthen ties to the community.
Share ideas and experiences.
A forum for social and educational events.
A vehicle to promote business opportunities.
A scholarship fund for deserving high school girls.
